Our founders have often seen patients in their medical practices in need of financial help for medical or diagnostic services, prostheses, wigs, insurance payments or deductibles. Others need emotional or financial counseling to persevere in their fight against breast cancer. In many cases, the needs of these patients fall through the cracks between existing federal, state and community based programs, thus bridging the gap of other support programs.
To help fill these funding gaps, these compassionate women founded the BCCF in 1999.
