METROPOLITAN AREA and includes MD, VA & DC)
BCCF provides funding to individuals with breast cancer as well as at-risk
women and men who lack sufficient funds to cover comprehensive breast
health services.
Our goal is to help people in our community when other programs and
resources have been exhausted. We help with a variety of needs ranging
from medical procedures such as breast biopsy, pathology services and
diagnostic imaging to post-treatment needs such as wigs, prostheses
and lymphedema therapy, thus bridging the gap of other support programs.
A screening process has been developed by the foundation's Board of
Directors with the help of volunteer social workers to assess the needs
of applicants. Once the application has been reviewed, services and
funds can be quickly provided.
Worried About Breast Cancer?
Have you been diagnosed with breast cancer or had an abnormal screening
mammogram? BCCF provides financial help for women and men who are unable
to cover their diagnostic and surgical medical expenses. For an application
