Julianne S. Greenberg, MD

Dr. Greenberg is currently the Mammography Director of Washington Radiology Associates, PC, an outpatient radiology practice with six offices in Washington DC, suburban Maryland and Northern Virginia. Her subspecialty practice in radiology focuses on Breast Imaging and Intervention as well as Women’s Imaging with emphasis in gynecological and obstetrical sonography. Dr. Greenberg was previously Assistant Professor of Radiology at both Georgetown University Medical Center and George Washington University Medical Center. In addition, she served as Assistant Director of Breast Imaging at Georgetown University and then Director of Breast Imaging at George Washington University in the Department of Radiology.

Dr. Greenberg graduated with Distinction from George Washington University School of Medicine. She was a medical intern and then completed a Diagnostic Radiology residency at George Washington University Medical Center.

She is a Clinical Image Reviewer for the American College of Radiology, Mammography Accreditation Program, and was a member of the ACR Subcommittee on Digital Mammography. She was a Site Principle Investigator for the ACRIN Digital Mammographic Imaging Screening Trial. She was an Editorial Board Member of the Journal of Women’s Imaging. She is a manuscript reviewer for the American Journal of Roentgenology and RadioGraphics. She also serves on the Educational Exhibits Committee for the Radiological Society of North America. In 1999, Dr. Greenberg founded the Breast Cancer Care Foundation (BCCF). This is a charitable organization that facilitates access to breast cancer care and ancillary services and provides financial grants for women in the local community who are underserved, uninsured or have insufficient financial resources for comprehensive breast health care and breast cancer treatment. She is Past President of BCCF, and currently serves on the BCCF Board of Directors as Secretary.
