Dedicated to the Cause, Dedicated to Denim.
A Smashing Success at Saks Fundraiser — Well over 200 women turned out in their denim finest for DC 4 BC’s special fundraiser, “Dedicated to the Cause, Dedicated to Denim.”
The fundraiser was held Oct. 27 at Saks Fifth Avenue Chevy Chase. Participants came for morning coffee or evening cocktails, where personal shopper and Georgetown stylist Deb Johns offered tips, tricks and a fashion show for dressing up your denim.
One hundred percent of the event’s $100 ticket price and five percent of that day’s sales at Saks were donated to the Breast Cancer Care Foundation. The event raised over $19,000. A special thanks to Saks Fifth Avenue, Deb Johns, the DC 4 BC event committee and all the women who came out to support BCCF.
